10 Memorial Day Recipes

Memorial Day is typically a day of good food, family, & sunshine. For us in the Midwest, it signals the start of Summer – AKA outdoor eating & grilling season. Whether you’re seeing family or staying in to stay safe, some delicious food needs to be there too!

I’ve collected 10 recipes from all of my favorite food blogs to create a yummy Memorial Day menu. Keeping the list short & sweet but covered all the bases.

As usual, I’m all about balance … “Everything in moderation, including moderation” – right? So the list includes some healthy recipes & some indulgent options.

First up is my Jalapeno Popper Skillet Dip. The blistered jalapenos infuse every bite with amazing flavor. This is a perfect appetizer to get everyone’s mouths watering.
A good green salad is a must. Need the veggies & fruit in this one to balance out the other indulgent dishes. This “Summer Berry Salad with Maple Walnuts” is from Eating Bird Food. (Not my image.)
One more veggie-filled side salad to make sure we get lots of greens in. This “Broccoli Salad” from Cooking Classy. (Not my image.)
Pizza Pasta Salad from Budget Bytes is super fast & easy to make. Plus you can always customize what “pizza toppings” you put in to make it the way you like it. (Not my image.)
Would it really be Memorial Day weekend if there wasn’t some grilled chicken involved? This Cilantro Lime Chicken with Strawberry Salsa is from Jo Cooks. (Not my image.)
Another kid-friendly fan favorite: Homemade Mac and Cheese. This instant pot version is from Rachel Cooks. (Not my image.)
Burgers are another must-have for any summer cookout. These Salmon Burgers from Feel Good Foodie are the perfect option for a healthy & balanced meal.
These Three Essential Sauces will go with just about everything for a summer celebration. This recipe includes the details to make: Honey Mustard, Jamaican Jerk Mayo, & Kickin’ Campfire
Dessert is light & refreshing with Mary’s Whole Life’s “Watermelon Pizza”. Fast, easy, healthy, & kid-friendly. The best kind of dessert.
Need to wash all this good food down with some equally delicious.
Sweet bourbon peach lemonade from Half Baked Harvest is just the thing. Only need 3 ingredients and a blender!
