Welcome!

Hello! My name is Stephanie Ralya & I am the foodie behind This & That.

I started blogging in 2019 as a way to share my food adventures with other people like me. People trying to learn how to cook, but not professionally trained chefs. People interested in healthy eating, but not at the cost of giving up pizza or cookies.   

My food philosophy is to have “everything in moderation.  Including moderation.”  So you’ll find a little bite of everything in my recipes.  From healthy to indulgent & sweet to spicy. I want “a little bite” of it all!

I am also a BIG fan of meal planning!  Being organized & prepared makes cooking less stressful & more enjoyable.  Plus, seeing how my meals balance out over time helps keep everything in perspective. 

Before I had my two kids, I never meal planned but now that I do, I’ll never go back. Meal planning does not mean that we eat homecooked meals 100% of the time. Sometimes the meal plan says “taco bell” or “frozen pizza” or “surprise”. I make meal planning work for me – not the other way around.

My goal with the blog is to share what I’ve learned & to keep trying new things with you. I hope This & That is a resource you can keep coming back to for family favorites, as well as to find something new to try. Mostly, I just want to make your mouth water.
